Honoring the Service of America’s Veterans

This Veterans Day, we remember those who have worn and continue to wear the uniform in service to our great nation. By land, by sea, and by air, America’s veterans have defended our freedom and liberties with valor through their service and sacrifice. 

For those veterans making the ultimate sacrifice, I am reminded of the words of President Reagan speaking at Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day 1985 when he poignantly remarked of the fallen: “what they gave us is beyond our powers to repay. And so, when a serviceman dies, it’s a tear in the fabric, a break in the whole, and all we can do is remember.”

As our men and women of the Armed Services are stationed throughout the world, they need our prayers for God’s continued provision as they selflessly serve to preserve our freedoms – far from their homes, families, and friends.
